CESAR GANANIAN is a Brazilian filmmaker and co-founder of FILMDESIGN. His films have been awarded in several international film festivals. He has worked as a director, editor and writer of the documentary Armenian Rhapsody, of the HBO’s TV series Outros Tempos, and directed several short films including FILME SOM, which received an honorable mention from Itamaraty at the São Paulo International Short Film Festival (2015). The content he produced for television as a screenwriter, editor and foreign correspondent of TV FOLHA has more than 3 million views on Youtube besides also earning the most important prize in Brazilian journalism, the Esso Award, in 2013. His experience as a music video editor include working with artists such as Emicida and Bonde do Role, both awarded in consecutive years for Best Music Video at the Multishow awards. Gananian studied acting at the The Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute, in New York, film directing at the Escuela de Cine y Television Septima Ars, in Madrid and Cinema at FAAP, in Sao Paulo.
